Side sashings for Halloween quilt

I love this fabric color! And I love the design for the sides!  I was only able to get 3 on the hoop at once but that's ok.  These three were about 70 minutes of sewing at a time.  Almost done!

Cornerstones for Halloween wedding quilt

I have to make 12 of these but they go fast!  I use black thread for all of the stitches which means no thread changes!  I have all 12 on the hoop at one time too.  Tonight I will decide which blocks I want to repeat to make it larger as well.  One block will be for the wedding info so that leaves 4 to do again either in different thread/fabrics or doing them flipped.

Halloween blocks done

This is a piece of the sashing.  I had to make 35!  They're done!

I did the colors on this to match my niece's hair and eyes.  She will love it!
Don't you love witches like this?  I used polka dots on her little dress.  I love polka dots and so does Melony.

Polka dots for the hat.
Love that vampire!

My niece has a black cat so she will love this!

Well, my summer vacation is over and I've been teaching all week.  I love my students again this year!  The custodians made some awesome changes to my classroom and I love it!  I will have to post pictures.  I am working on the side sashings to the quilt tonight.  They are very cool.
