Repurposed shutter project

I picked up a few Windows and shutters a while back and have been letting them season outside until now.  I happened to like this old shutter because of the half moon which made it seem like it belonged on an outhouse.
I sanded it to this:
Then I painted it yesterday when I was home alone. I used black spray paint which made it easy and fast.
Today I decorated it for use in the little sewing room Kenny and I are painting this summer.
It's ready for seasonal wreaths and projects I'm working on or contemplating.  I can't wait to see it on the wall soon.  ๐Ÿ˜€
