Nights at the bar...

Here are my girls perched on their bars at night. They never had one before, but finally all of them are up there as soon as they come home for the night. Years ago, before I knew that chickens literally "come home to roost," I would run around trying to catch them and put them in the coop, but one day I couldn't catch them all and noticed that once it gets dusky, they all head for home on their own! Funny things you learn in life!

Adorable photo of your chickens. Mine are still babies. They will soon be moved out to their HEN HOUSE! Right now I have them in a enclosed shed with lots of heat. My chicken coop is too cold for young chicks. My ducks had a treat in their pool tonight. Funny little things. Last I checked they were all snuggled together in their pen and fluffy as could be. They are two weeks old as are my baby chicks. I love them all.... Have a good night..... sleep tight!
