I had to give it up...really, it's not my fault!

This morning I got up and walked past THE CHAIR and saw that it was full of dog hair from my dog just walking by it a few times!!! It was really upsetting because it would not brush off easily either!! Kenny saw it too, and said, "Guess that was the wrong color, huh?" Well, we both decided that it was silly for me to do any more work on something that was only going to make me angry with the dog every day. Plus, it would never look totally clean since the dogs are always in the house. So, I took the pictures you see here and took the fabric off and rolled up what was left (maybe for curtains in the future). Guess I'll be heading to the furniture store after all. Maybe I will find a nice recliner for Ken to use.
Ok, so I was secretly overjoyed to be ending this project. I have curtains to make and a few quilt tops to put together!! YAY!!

Good for you!!! Dont waste time on projects your heart isnt into! Just ask me about sewing clothes!!! I get crazy and try to push myself through but I just get more upset and waste time and money.

Yahoo!! To the furniture store it is!! I know you are happy and relieved BUT you were doing a great job on the chair so now you know you CAN do it should you run across a tattered chair that you just have to bring home :o)

I can relate to the dog hair, it's a chore! Good for you for not making yourself stressed out everytime you saw it, and what fun shopping for a new one!

I am totally excited about getting a new chair now!! Boy would I have been a nut with the dogs if I saw hair on it as soon as I was done!

LOL!
there needs to be a line of upholstery fabrics that either resist attracting and holding pet hair or that camoflage it effectively. ;)

I did the same thing so a similar chair in the same color. I don't even have a inside dog but it stays a mess. I vote for a new chair too!
