Quilt made in an embroidery hoop (mostly!!)

I have an embroidery machine that I use almost every day!! It is a regular sewing machine as well, so I just keep it out all of the time. Anyway, I joined an embroidery club at the quilt shop and this time we made a quilt that was done almost entirely in the hoop, which means it was being quilted as we went along too. This is one of the blocks. It is all thread making the designs.
This little darling was all appliqued in the hoop!! It is so tiny, which I usually hate to do, but it was fairly easy.

Finished and ready for hanging or laying on the dining room table. The colors are a little muted in the big picture, but you can see the overall idea.

Oh, I love this!!! I wish I could just sit next to you while you do these works....I've got my Babylock Esante sewing/embroidery machine but do not use the embroidery that often...I know "bad girl"!!! You always inspire me to USE it..hahaha...maybe after my studio is finally finished I'll start using it more.

Hugs, Steph
